Ingredients
1 cup raw buckwheat groats, soaked
2tbsps flaxseeds
1 banana, sliced
1/2 cup raw milk
2 tbsp organic cacao powder
1/2 tsp organic vanilla extract
1/4 to 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1.5 tbsp organic 100% pure maple syrup
Pinch sea salt
To serve: Extra banana, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, cacao nibs
Method
Place buckwheat groats and flaxseed into a bowl, cover with filtered water. Set aside to soak for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight if possible. Rinse and drain thoroughly.
Place all of the porridge ingreients in a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until combined. Scape into serving pots or bowls and transfer to the fridge to chill for 30 minutes before eating.
To serve, top with slices of banan, chopped nuts, coconut and cacao nibs π«
