Kefir Medjool Date Heaven
Ingredients:
10 Organic Medjool Dates
Coconut Kefir Water (See additional recipe)
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 large noble or organic ginger - peeled and chopped
Instructions:
Place dates in the bottom of a glass fermentation jar
Place a fermenting weight on the dates
Pour approximately 1/4 cup of prepared coconut kefir water
Top up the jar with filtered water, high enough to cover the date by 2 cm
Pour all the liquid contents into a bottle and add the cinnamon and ginger - shake to combine
Pour this mix back over the dates and weights in your original fermenting jar, seal on the airlock lid, making sure that there is 3cm of air locked in the jar for expansion
Place in a dark cool space for 48 hours, then move to the fridge and consume at your leisure
